Using the site
The site is free to use for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. Please don't try to disrupt it, overload it with automated requests, get around its security, or use it for anything unlawful.
General information, not advice
Number Anvil's calculators and explanations are for general information. Results depend on the numbers you enter and on the formulas and definitions described on each page, and they may differ from figures given by a school, employer, doctor, government agency or other organization. Nothing on the site is medical, financial, legal or educational advice. In particular, a BMI is a screening measure, not a diagnosis, and a GPA worked out here isn't an official one. Before relying on a result for anything important, check it with the organization concerned.
Not affiliated
Number Anvil isn't affiliated with or endorsed by any school, health body, standards organization or government agency, including the World Health Organization, the CDC and NIST, whose published definitions some calculators use.
No warranty
The site and everything on it are provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, including that the site will be accurate, complete, uninterrupted, error-free or fit for a particular purpose. We work to keep it correct, but you use it at your own risk.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, QRCat, LLC and its members, employees and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, data, savings or opportunity, arising from your use of the site or from decisions you make based on it, even if we were told such loss was possible. Because the site is free, our total liability for any claim relating to it is limited to $100. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they apply to you only as far as your local law permits.

The site links to and uses information from other organizations. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or practices.

The site's text, design and code are © QRCat, LLC, except where material from others is credited under its own license.
Changes
We may update these terms. Changes take effect when posted here, with the date above updated; continuing to use the site means you accept them.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Washington, unless the law where you live requires otherwise.
